Hello Again!
Its been awhile, things have been busy in sunny Arizona. Hollie is back to her new school year, getting into the full swing of things. She is almost half way done with her class she is teaching at Mohave Community College. She is hoping to get another one for the second eight weeks. She enjoys the change of pace between fifth graders and college students. Bill is doing great at work. He's liking the fact that is is starting to get a little cooler since he is out in the weather alot. My job is good as well. I finished the academy in Julyand my case load is growing by the week!We had a little scare with budget cuts and layoffs, I made it through the first round, but rumor has it there may be more to come around December. I just keep doing my job, counting the number of people that have been hired after me! The juvenile division typically has more money than adult because we get part of our money from state and part from county, whereas adult is purely county funded, so hopefully I will still be employed come the new year!
Mom and dad will be here in a few weeks. We havent seen dad since last Christmas and are really looking forward to seeing all of the pictures and hearing the Alaska stories from this year. The two of them are going down to Mexico for a few days when they are here. Apparently tons of people go to this border town called Algadonas to get dental work done, so they are joing the masses! Should be interesting! We are all going to the Grand Canyon when they are here, they have never been, and the three of us cant wait to see it again! It should be a nice trip.
If you havent heard, we are coming to Illinois for Christmas!!! We are all looking forward to it. It will be a hectic visit seeing everyone, but we are excited! There is nothing like Mom's house all decorated for the holidays, she always made it look so festive!
We are all three in the football pool at Hollie's work. Sad to say, I am in seventh place. Hollie on the other hand is tied for first and Bill is tied for second. It makes for an interesting Sunday at our house!! We ventured to California recently, only made it about an hour in, it was all desert and we left too late in the day to make it to anywhere good. We saw Needles and Fenner. Keep in mind, Fenner was a house and a rest area and there were "caution! rattlesnakles" signs everywhere! We just decided to turn around and go to the river instead! We like the familiar!
Hollie and I went to Las Vegas yesterday for Jean and Scott's wedding. We finally got to meet some of our cousins! It was at the Planet Hollywood casino. We had a nice time seeing evryone. There is pictures. Well, if you are reading this, drop a line here to let us know! We love to hear from you all! Take Care, see you all at the holidays!
Love, Sara

Hello all! Hope everyone is well. Tomorrow is my last day at MCC. It went well. I'm teaching a class this fall in the evening. It is an 8 week class similar to this one so we will see. Then, I only have 2 weeks and I'm back at the Academy! We have 2 new teachers, one in my grade level so it will be interesting. And, my Principal is leaving after this year. Her husband was transferred to Michigan last year. They were going to ride it out a couple of years until his retirement but he wants to work longer and invest more time in so she is moving too. Lots of changes. Where does the time go? Sara is finishing up her stint in Phoenix at the Probation academy. She'll be home Friday. Bill just finished another home course for his job and is receiving another raise. There's the career update.
The dogs are spoiled as ever as you see in the pics. Everyone, including us, is healthy.
Sara and I have been busy with our girlfriends. It has been babu shower after baby shower. There were 4 cable wives pregnant, my friend, Shari, from work is pregnant, and my friend, Rhonda, from work has 2 daughters-in-law who are pregnant. It's a wonder I haven't gotten pregnant by osmosis! Anyway, 3 of the cable girls have now had theirs. The last one is due in October. The other 3 that I know from people at my work are due in September, February and sometime in the Spring. We have become quite close with Troy and Jennifer. Troy works with Bill. Jennifer is kind of like Sara and I in that she moved here from Texas and left her family and friends behind so we have a special bond. She wanted me in the delivery room with her, along with Troy and Troy's mom. Wow, what an experience. This all happened yesterday. Those of you that really know me know that I am an emotional person anyway. Hell, I cry every time I watch 'A Baby Story' on TLC. It was amazing. He was a big boy-20.2 inches long and 9.3 pounds. He also got stuck because his shoulders were bigger than his head so the end was a little intense. He is beautiful and healthy.
We haven't really been to Laughlin as much as we used to. We went with Mom for the fourth. The firework were awesome over the Colorado River! Sara and I did go last weekend to see comedian John Pinette. HILARIOUS! He talked about food 75% of the time-our kind of guy. Our room was next door to his so we hung out up there and waited for him so we could talk to him. It worked! However, Sara wouldn't let me knock on his door later for an autograph or to hang out. She never lets me do anything! We have free tickets to the Kid Rock concert in September down there too!! We are SOOOOOOOOO excited for that. Well, Sara and I are. Bill is going to keep us in line I suppose. Sara and I are even on the list to meet him and take pictures beforehand. I'm telling you, it pays to be VIP and have your very own personal casino host at the one and only Aquarius casino and hotel. I think Chicago comes in October so we'll probably go see them too. Fun.
The weather has been good. It hasn't rained in a while. Now that I said that it probably will. As you can see in the pics, we redid one of the bathrooms-it's GIRLY! Bill really lilkes it. Sara and I are the ones who use it to get ready and stuff so we wanted it to be fun. Now it is.
Bill's freind, Tym, got married a couple of weeks ago. Another cable guy. It was fun. You'll see pics of everyone. And that about wraps us up for now. Thanks to AUnt Dorinda for the pics of Brayden. I can't believe how big he is. He has the cutest little smile! She said everyone on her end is doing well. Please know we are thinking of everyone daily. We love and miss you all!

School's Out!!!!
Hello Friends and Fam! Thought I would say hey. School's Out!!!!!!!!!!! I am officially on summer break. It has been a whopping 3 days and I am terribly bored. However, I start teaching at Mohave Community College next week. I decided to teach a summer class. It is an eight week class that meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays for a couple of hours. Not too bad. It will be different teaching adults, but I think it will be fun.
Mom is headed this way soon. She will be here for the 4th. WooHoo!!
Bill is back to work. He had a great time with all of you. Sara and I were quite jealous. Though, I know I would have been sick the second my feet hit the ground, especially with the weather the way it was when he was there. Thanks for making his trip memorable.
Sara is kicking butt and taking names, as usual. HaHa. She still likes what she is doing. She is heading to Pheonix for more training next month.
The weather is warm and dry. We all miss our pools. We hear it has been crazy stormy back there. It will be our turn soon. Monsoon season begins late summer.
Not much more to report. A couple of personal messages we would like to pass along: 1)To Brent & Manda-CONGRATULATIONS! Here's to many years of laughs and love (and at least 3 kids, haha). 2)To the Shriver & Bridges Families- We are deeply sorry for your loss. What a fine lady. I am blessed to have known her. Please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers. 3)To Mom-Hope your birthday was as special as you are. We can't wait to see you. 4)To Dad-We all miss you. Hope you are feeling better and taking care of yourself. Keep living that dream. It's always better the second time around.
We love and miss you all!!

River Run
Here are some pictures of the river run in Laughlin. We had a good time. Great people watching! Its amazing what some people wear. Things here are good, Bill is looking forward to coming home this week, only four more wakeups until he leaves! Hollie went yesterday to Las Vegas to meet Aunt Judy and clan. They were in doing some planning for Jean's wedding. Bill was on call, so he couldnt go, and it was prom night, so I had to make sure my little cherubs weren't doing anything wrong. Hated to miss them, but we will all be able to see them in September for the wedding. Hope everyone is doing good, miss you all! Love, Sara
