Hello Again!

Its been awhile, things have been busy in sunny Arizona. Hollie is back to her new school year, getting into the full swing of things. She is almost half way done with her class she is teaching at Mohave Community College. She is hoping to get another one for the second eight weeks. She enjoys the change of pace between fifth graders and college students. Bill is doing great at work. He's liking the fact that is is starting to get a little cooler since he is out in the weather alot. My job is good as well. I finished the academy in Julyand my case load is growing by the week!We had a little scare with budget cuts and layoffs, I made it through the first round, but rumor has it there may be more to come around December. I just keep doing my job, counting the number of people that have been hired after me! The juvenile division typically has more money than adult because we get part of our money from state and part from county, whereas adult is purely county funded, so hopefully I will still be employed come the new year!

Mom and dad will be here in a few weeks. We havent seen dad since last Christmas and are really looking forward to seeing all of the pictures and hearing the Alaska stories from this year. The two of them are going down to Mexico for a few days when they are here. Apparently tons of people go to this border town called Algadonas to get dental work done, so they are joing the masses! Should be interesting! We are all going to the Grand Canyon when they are here, they have never been, and the three of us cant wait to see it again! It should be a nice trip.

If you havent heard, we are coming to Illinois for Christmas!!! We are all looking forward to it. It will be a hectic visit seeing everyone, but we are excited! There is nothing like Mom's house all decorated for the holidays, she always made it look so festive!

We are all three in the football pool at Hollie's work. Sad to say, I am in seventh place. Hollie on the other hand is tied for first and Bill is tied for second. It makes for an interesting Sunday at our house!! We ventured to California recently, only made it about an hour in, it was all desert and we left too late in the day to make it to anywhere good. We saw Needles and Fenner. Keep in mind, Fenner was a house and a rest area and there were "caution! rattlesnakles" signs everywhere! We just decided to turn around and go to the river instead! We like the familiar!

Hollie and I went to Las Vegas yesterday for Jean and Scott's wedding. We finally got to meet some of our cousins! It was at the Planet Hollywood casino. We had a nice time seeing evryone. There is pictures. Well, if you are reading this, drop a line here to let us know! We love to hear from you all! Take Care, see you all at the holidays!

Love, Sara
